The most likely clean-up that may be required is that the blank part numbers lines will need to be filled in.

In the case that the file needs to have the blank part number cells fixed: you will need to insert a new column for the clean part number and use a formula to fill in the part numbers on all lines.

If you enter the formula into cell B2 as shown and copy it down, you will have fixed the issue

A final step is to select column b > copy > paste special (values)

The paste value process above will allow you to remove column A without damaging column B.
