Troubleshooting the issues with the preventative maintenance routine-cm

Research:
query to get access to service records
<<<<< Removed >>>>>
We are able to get the same information in System Five

Notes:
* Having issues regarding the PM functionality
 - If I just change the meter reading it doesn't do anything
 - Part needs to be Rental to fit into that functionality
 - Need rental demo to test the rental return side of things
 - Things on the maintenance tab can be used

Maintenance Tab, on non rental units:
* Click the Select column to select the particular maintenance line.
 - This will indicate that PM is required
 - This causes the PM to show on the Unit List report when filtering for only items with that maintenance type
 - This process does not create a PM record in the status table
* Force Required Maintenance will only allow you to click when that row is checked/selected
 - When you click it, a record will be created in in the status table
 - The record in status will contain normal info, but the Serviced = N. this indicates service is needed
 - Another record will not be made if you Force Required Maintenance on another row
* Maintenance filter behavior when a forced required maintenance record exists in status table but no rows checked/selected (Same as normal behavior except status changes)
 - No check boxes selected: Will show
 - Any check boxes selected: will not show
 - This is the same as if forced was not selected
 - The forced record changes the status of field of the unit to Maintenance (as per setup Wizard config I think)
* Clicking the Record Maintenance button causes a new record to be created
 - Serviced = Y
 - Doesn't seem to be any difference what line is selected
 - Each time the button is clicked a new line is created
* In advanced you can choose to Include Unit Status Types and only check of the Maintenance Type
 - Then once you actually record your first PM via the record Maintenance the filtering begins to take into account the mileage since last serviced
 - as soon as the mileage is greater than the last PM value by the value field on the Preventative Maintenance tab: The filtering will work

Flow of Information:
* Save the current meter readings
* Record maintenance with the meter reading set to the meter reading of the last maintenance
* Update the meter reading to the saved meter reading value
* Select/check PM types that apply to this unit
* When running Unit List make sure both settings are set
 - Advanced tab > Include Unit Status Types > Only Maintenance should be selected/checked
 - Maintenance tab > Display only units requiring the selected maintenance types selected > PM types you need to report on are selected/checked
* Include the Status, Stock Status, Serviced, and Las PM fields for each PM type you want to report on

Additional Info about renting out and returning items:
* When renting out an item two records are created, one for meter out and another for meter in.
* Changing the meter values will record them in the status table, but also change the meter reading on the unit.
* At Even before the unit is returned with the new reading confirmed, the report above will work as expected.

Note: There are additional features that can control the checklists and force the checklists to happen before allowing someone to rent out the item again.
* These features are not described here.
