Is it possible to generate a sales history for individual items using a date range and invoice type as a filter?

You can generate sales history if you are in the inventory record of an individual item. Go to the Sales History Tab and you can uncheck invoices that you do not want to include in the listing (e.g. Estimates), and then check off 'Only Completed invoices'.
