Scanner only emits a series of beeps when a barcode is scanned and nothing is transmitted to the command prompt.

The problem is that the scanner has lost communication with the cradle, or has lost it's programming. The resolution to this problem is to simply scan the barcode on the wireless cradle and this re-established communication between the cradle and the hand set. If this still does not resolve the issue, then there may be something wrong with the device and will require the end user to call Symbol Customer Support to further troubleshoot the issue.
