Problem Description

How do I, as a business owner, record my salary?

Solution

Assuming you are the owner of the company, you can record your salary via a journal entry which affects the bank account and the wages expense or owners equity or owners withdrawl account. You may need to set these accounts up in your chart of accounts prior to creating the journal entry.
