Withholding Income tax against an employee taxable Benefit
View this tutorial for a demonstration of the setup and use of a taxable benefit for an employee. Payroll items (Income and offsetting deduction) provide the ability to calculate income taxes against the amount when no cash or monetary value is provided to the employee.
The Example used in this tutorial is a portion of employer paid Health benefits is deemed as a taxable benefit to the employee. Income tax is to be calculated and withheld in each pay period.
