Sell by weight inventory by quantity

There is a sell by weight inventory by quantity option in the setup wizard of System Five. This feature was designed for selling items like chickens or turkeys.

Purchased by the each

This feature is designed for the scenario where the Turkey is purchased by the quantity or each. They are priced at a single price and quantity is in bulk.

Sold by weight

The turkeys are then sold by the lb, kg, etc. A single turkey is sold, but weighed and the retail price for the 1 qty of turkey x the weight of the turkey calculates a new price.
